George Anyumba
George Anyumba holds a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) degree from Morgan State University; Baltimore, Maryland with special interests in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Dr. Anyumba is a resident of Baltimore, Maryland where he currently works as a Senior Epidemiologist at Baltimore City Health Department and is also an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology at Towson State University.
Dr. Anyumba has been affiliated with Washington D.C government where he worked as a Senior Education Research Analyst at OSSE. Before that Dr. Anyumba worked as Health and Policy Analyst (State of Maryland), Senior Research Analyst (Baltimore City Health Department),an Adjunct Professor of Math (Carroll Community College, Westminster, MD), and an Adjunct Professor of Epidemiology (School of Community Health and Policy, Nursing Program, Morgan State University). Trained as a Math and Science (Chemistry) teacher in his Native country Kenya, Dr. Anyumba has several years of teaching and school administrative experience. One of Dr. Anyumba’s passions is serving his community both in the USA and back in Kenya. He is the current chairman of Kano Empowerment Association, USA, and the Treasurer of Kenya Diaspora Alliance-USA
